"This is a milestone in the construction of PLTU units III and IV, which we conducted on March 19 2015," said Erwin Aksa in his speech.
The progress of the Unit III PLTU construction was running smoothly, with being able to be completed 4 to 5 months faster than the targeted time.
"We coordinate well with the local government, to community leaders. I have never heard of problems regarding immigration, as well as problems with customs clearance during the construction process. That is what makes this project work well," he said.
The operation of Units III and IV has made PLTU Jeneponto able to increase electricity supply by 250 MW.
Previously, units I and II had supplied 250 MW of electricity for the needs in South Sulawesi, so that currently PLTU Jeneponto produces a total of 500 MW.
"Our hope is that the commercial operation will be completed in October or early November, so we will ensure that the unit three generator is included in the PLN network," he said.
