Access Road Construction Begins for Sumbagsel-1 Power Plant Project

Construction has begun on a new access road that will provide essential transportation infrastructure for a new power plant project. The project, which is set to generate electricity for thousands of households, requires a reliable and safe access road to transport heavy equipment and materials to the site. The access road project involves the construction of a new two-lane road, with a total length of five kilometers, that will connect the power plant site to the nearest highway.

Before being built into a road, the location to be built must be clean of large rocks, wood and rubbish. After the location is cleared, the next process is compacting the soil that will be used as a road. The next process is to provide fill soil at the location where the concrete road will be built. After that, the landfill will be compacted perfectly using a concrete vibrator.

The next process is to cover the foundation layer using a plastic overlay, this is done to cover the concrete cast foundation.

After being given a layer of plastic, then install the formwork on each side of the road and install rebars / wire mesh steel as a layer of concrete decking. The next process is casting concrete. after the concrete has been poured, cover it again using plastic on the surface. After the concrete has hardened, the concrete road must be subjected to a concrete road hardness testing process, generally done using a concrete hardness gauge.
