The Village Desa Keban Agung in Kabupaten Ogan Komering Ulu (OKU) buzzed with excitement on Thursday, 18 May 2023, as the groundbreaking ceremony for the ambitious "2x150 MW Sumbagsel-1 Coal Fired Steam Power Plant Project" took place. This milestone event marked the official commencement of a significant energy initiative spearheaded by PT Sumbagselenergi Sakti Pewali.
The Sumbagsel-1 project brings together a consortium consisting of PT Sumberenergi Sakti Prima, PT D&C Engineering Company, PT PJBI, and PT Adimas Puspita Serasi. These esteemed organizations have joined forces to tackle the growing energy demands of the region and contribute to the country's power infrastructure.
The ceremony witnessed the presence of notable individuals, including the esteemed President Commissioner of SSP Group, Ibu Dewi Kam, and Bpk. Moh. Abdullah Jassin, a distinguished member of the SSP Group's Board of Directors. Shareholders of SSP, Board of Director from PT Total Bangun Persada and, as well as several VVIP guests, such as the Sekda OKU (Secretary of OKU), Kapolres (Chief of Police), and Dandim (District Military Commander), graced the event with their esteemed presence.
