The Hand Over of PLTGU 1x150 MW PT Asrigita Prasarana to SSP Group

Palembang, Merah Mata Village, Kec. Banyuasin, 5 December 2022, the Handover of PLTGU Palembang Timur 1 x 150 MW which owned by China National Chemical Engineering Company Limited and Chengda Engineering Company Limited handed over to PT Sumbergas Sakti Prima (SSP) Group.

The Secretary to the Director General of Electricity at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, Ida Nuryatin Finahari, congratulated PT SSP Group, which has now fully accepted the management of the East Palembang 1 x 150 MW PLTGU.

We welcome today's event, we also congratulate PT SSP on taking over 100 percent of PT Asrigita Prasarana.

"I hope that in the future PT SSP can provide more optimal support in achieving energy transition targets," he said.

Regarding the Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) which will expire, he said that the PPA extension could be carried out on a B to B basis. He also emphasized that the negotiation process must be carried out as soon as possible, not waiting for the end of the contract.

Furthermore, the Regional Secretary and the Assistants witnessed the handover of the golden key, symbolic of the transfer of management from PT Asrigita Prasarana to PT SSP Group.
